indigenous oil & gas company

An indigenous oil & gas company involved in the development of an oil field in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria plans to develop its production facilities consisting of flow station, gas plant, flowlines, and pipelines and water disposal system. As a result, competent professionals are needed to fill the following vacancies:

1. SENIOR PROJECT/FACILITIES ENGINEER (PFDE) [REF. # F1]
Requirements:
• Minimum - Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 8 to 10 year post graduate experience.
• 5+ years demonstrated process and/or mechanical design experience in oil and gas facilities.
• 5+ years demonstrated process and/or mechanical construction experience in oil and gas facilities.
• 3+ years demonstrated project engineering experience in an E&P project in the oil and gas industry,
• Demonstrated ability to use process simulation software: Hysis, Pipesim or similar software
• Knowledge of international mechanical design standards and codes with special emphasis on API, ASTM, ANSI and similar standards.
• Good verbal and written communications skills (English language) and the ability to work as Part of and also lead a team.
• Past experience with a recognized engineering contractor or an International Oil Company is a plus
• Proficient in the MS Office suite of software programs and Lotus Notes.
Skills
• Must have drive, energy and initiative and be capable of working with minimum supervision.
• Must be familiar with design and equipment selection of complex equipment applications (i.e. Oil & Gas Production, LNG/NGL, Non-Associated gas Plants, high pressure gas re injection, water flood systems, fire water systems, power generation etc.).
• Hands on ability to use project planning software such as Microsoft Project Scheduler or equivalent. • Must be able to use the full suite of Microsoft Office software.
• Possesses good knowledge of engineering verification and equipment design audit requirements.
• Capable of developing procedures for testing, installation, commissioning and start-up.
• Capable of developing requirements for operating, maintenance and inspection procedures
• Capable of verifying work is consistent with good design practices, realistic operating assumptions and low lifecycle costs
• Capable of developing detailed equipment specifications including pre-commissioning, testing, and assessing vendor qualifications and quality programs
• Must be able to lead a multi-disciplinary team engineering and support personnel.
Work Location: Lagos but must be mobile and able to work in the Niger-Delta

2. PROJECT/FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER [Ref. # F2]
Requirement:
• Technical background with engineering or a technical degree or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years experience in engineering in general and at least 5 years in major projects as a Construction Engineer and 3 years in major oil and gas projects in the lead position.
• Past experience must encompass working with a major international oil company and I or a major international contractor, working in a
team environment and supervision of a team of engineers of various disciplines.
Skills:
• Candidate must have well developed computing, technical and inter-personal skills.
• The candidate must be familiar with computer based software such as the full suite of Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Word.
• Candidate must also be familiar with planning software such as, Microsoft projects for Windows etc as well as the generic Engineering Work Management systems software used by many International Companies for managing large and complex engineering projects and activities
• Candidate must be capable of preparing, evaluating and making tender board submissions, supervising the award of contracts within the company approved procedure, preparing, monitoring and implementing budgets. Must be able to implement project quality and HSSE systems.
• Must be conversant with the use of international and Nigerian construction codes and standards including API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, BSI as well as local Nigerian.
Work Location: Uyo/Eket/Port Harcourt and must be mobile and able to work in the outside the normal operational zone as well as outside Nigeria.

3. SENIOR HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL (HSE) ENGINEER [Ref. # F3]
Requirements:
• Technical background with an HND or Degree in engineering or science discipline equivalent and a minimum of 10 years in" HSSE engineering with at least 5 years in major projects and
• 5 years in major oil and gas projects.
• Past experience must encompass working with a major international oil company and/or a major international contractor, working in a team environment and supervision of a team of discipline engineer.
• Candidate must have well developed computing, technical and Inter-personal skills.
• The candidate must be familiar with computer based software such as the full suite of Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Words as well as the proprietary and generic software used in
technical risk assessment for HSE related studies.
Skills:
• Must have drive, energy and initiative and be capable of working with minimum supervision.
• Must be familiar with oil and gas operations spanning drilling to production operations including the design and OH & Gas Production facilities.
• Must be able to use the full suite of Microsoft Office software.
• Possesses good knowledge of HSSE audit requirements and techniques
including HAZID/HAZOP/SAFOP techniques and methods.
• Capable of developing policies, processes and procedures for oil and gas operations and assessing vendor qualifications and quality programs
• Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team of engineering, operations and support personnel
Work location: Uyo/Eket and must be mobile and able to work in the outside the normal operational zone as well as outside Nigeria.

4. PRODUCTION OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR [Ref. # F4]
Requirements:
• Technical background with an engineering degree or technical degree (HND) or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years experience in oil and gas production operations in general and at least 5 years in major oil and/or gas plant projects as a Production Operations Supervisor.
• Past experience must encompass working with a major international oil company and/or a major international contractor, working in a team environment and supervision of a team of engineers of various disciplines.
Skills
• Candidate must have well developed computing, technical and inter-personal skills.
• The Candidate must be familiar with DCS supervisory systems for production operations and must be familiar with the full suite of Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Words.
• Candidate must be able to implement project quality and HSSE systems for Production Operations.
• Candidate must be able to plan and implement scheduled maintenance of all plants and equipments/accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and manuals. Candidate must have well developed inter-personal skills and be able to work within a multidisciplinary team and relate well to the host communities.
Work Location: Eket, Akwa Ibom State.

5. SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER (INCLUDING PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS) [Ref. #
F 5]
Requirements:
• The suitable candidate must have a Supply Chain, Procurement or Logistics.
• Management background with a university degree or technical degree
(HND) or equivalent professional qualification and a minimum of 10 years post graduate experience with at least 5 years in oil and gas production
operations Supply Chain management position. Past experience must encompass working with a major international oil company and/or a major contractor, working in a team environment and supervision of a team of Supply Chain Management.
• Procurement and/or Logistics personnel of various disciplines.
Skills:
• Candidate must have well developed computing, technical and inter-personal skills.
• The candidate must be familiar with Current Supply Chain management, Logistics and/procurement Processes, Systems and procedures.
• Candidate must be familiar with the full suite of Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Excel and Words.
• Candidate must be able to implement project quality and HSSE systems for Supply Chain management/Procurement and Logistics Operations.
• Candidate must be able to plan and implement stock management and
control systems to ensure that consumables and spare parts are available to meet operational requirements in a cost effective manner
• Candidate must have well developed inter-personal skills and be able to work within a multidisciplinary team.

6. MANAGER HR AND ADMIN [Ref. # F5]
Requirements:
• Candidate must be a university graduate in a humanities, technical or commercial background with at least 10 years experience in a medium to large enterprise of which at least 3 years should have been in a senior position in an oil and gas or oil and gas service/contracting company.
Skills:
• Candidate must have well developed inter-personal, planning and computing skills.
• The candidate must be familiar with Current HR Processes, Systems and procedures especially as it affects the oil and gas sector in Nigeria.
• Candidate must be familiar with the full suite of Microsoft Office software Including PowerPoint, Excel and Words. Candidate must have well developed inter-personal skills, the ability to work under pressure, and be
able to work within a multi-disciplinary team.

7. ADMIN & GENERAL SERVICES OFFICER [Ref. # F7]
Requirements
• HND or university degree in administration, Business administration or related subject with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in a medium size organisation with world class procedures and practices, Experience in an oil and gas company would be a plus.
Skills:
• Candidate must have well developed inter-personal, planning, organizational and computing skills. The candidate must be able to work under pressure and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
• Candidate must be familiar with the full suite of Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• The position requires a person of integrity, strong involvement and commitment.

8. HEAD ACCOUNTING [Ref. # F8]
Qualification:
• HND or University degree plus Professional Certification (ICAN or
equivalent) in Accounting
• A minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in a medium size organisation with world class procedures including 3 years experience in an oil and gas company or service company.
Skills:
• Candidate must have well developed inter-personal, planning, organizational and computing skills.
• The Candidate must be able to work under pressure and be able to
communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
• Candidate must be familiar with generic accounting software specially IDEAS and the full suite of Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Excel and Words, The position requires a person of integrity, strong analytical skills and commitment.
Location: Lagos.

9. HEAD SECURITY [Ref. # F9]
Qualification
• HND or Degree with a minimum of10 years in Security Services with at least 5 years working with a major international oil company and/or a major international contractor, working in a team environment and supervision of a team of security personnel.
• Candidate must have well developed inter-personal skills.
• The candidate must be familiar with computer based software such as the full suite of Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint. Excel and Words.
Skill Levels:
• Must have a sound understanding of the security issues in the Niger-Delta and worldwide.
• Must have drive, energy and initiative and be capable of working with minimum supervision
• Must be familiar with oil and gas operations spanning drilling to production operations including the design and Oil & Gas Production
facilities.
• Must be able to use the full suite of Microsoft Office software.
• Possesses good knowledge of Security practices and methods
• Capable of developing policies, processes and Procedures for oil and gas operations.
• Well established network with Federal, State and Local government
security organisation
• Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team of engineering, operations and support personnel
• Integrity, commitment and drive are essential for this work.
Work Location: Eket and must be mobile and able to work in and outside the normal operational zone.
